              Wabash Hospital Employee Reunion

Fifteen former employees of the Wabash Hospital held their annual reunion at Wabash Association recently. Attending the reunion were: Front row - Dean Craig, Clark LeMar, Hazel Hartman Leaser, Norma Arnold, Helen Schawitsch and Loretta Blick. The back row shows Harlin Taylor, Nadine Karnes, Charlene McQueen, Judy Jefferson, Dot Cheney, Connie Moore, Carl Moore, Charlene Willoughby and Shelba Donoho.

                                                   Wabash Volunteers ~ THANK YOU

The Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was held in the Wabash Board Room recently.  The luncheon is held to recognize the numerous hours of volunteer service to Wabash during the past twelve months.  A BIG THANK YOU to all Wabash volunteers who so generously give of their time to serve our members.

                                                            Grief and Loss Classes

Earlier this year, Wabash Association invited Ms. Leslie Roberts, MSW, DMH Hospice Social Worker, to hold a five class session on Growing Through Grief for the Wabash Grief and Loss program.  The classes were beneficial and subwequently a follow up class is held the fourth Wednesday of every month from 11-11:30 in the Wabash Board Room moderated by our Grief and Loss Coordinator.  We have invited Ms. Roberts back on November 6th, November 21st and December 12th to teach on Grief During the Holiday Season.  The classes will be held from 10-11AM in the Wabash Board Room.  All members are welcome.  Please call Janet at (217) 429-5246 to sign up for the class.
