Wabash Clinic Considers Expansion of Services
Waba ______________________________________________________________________________________________
A sharp increase in the number of our incoming phone calls has forced us to modify our message handling. Marge and Vickie will be operating our switchboard. If the person you're calling is away from their desk, their voice recording will invite you to leave a message or give you the option to return to the operator to speak to someone else. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ Medicare Part D Price Comparison There is a new way to see if the Part D plan you may be pricing can actually save you money. EHO has developed a method called 'Market Basket Pricing' which you can use at www.drugbenefit.com . By clicking on Medicare Calculator at that site you can enter in the prescription drugs you use and compare the annual cost of those purchased through the average commercial Part D plan with those drugs purchased with options available through our EHO prescription drug card. Don't take someone else's word for it - check it out yourself. If you don't have internet access, call Janet at 1-888-800-9161 for assistance. The money you save will be your own. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Election For Retiree Board Representative A Board representative and alternate representative are to be selected to serve a two-year term to represent retired members at our May Annual Meeting. Both the Representative and Alternate receive all the Board material but only the Representative attends and votes at meetings. Retirees are currently served by Representative Clarence W. Chabak and Alternate Lucile Derlitzki. Any retired member wishing to be considered may do so by submitting the following information to the Administrator prior to May 1st: (A) Name, address and general history of your membership and qualifications; (B) A petition supporting your candidacy signed by no less than twenty-five retired members in good standing; (C) A short list of issues you would focus on if selected. From the list of petitions received, the top three candidates may be invited to interview with the Joint Conference Committee at Wabash in Decatur on May 5th. The new representative will be brought up to date on Board activities and start their term officially at that time with their next Board meeting being in October.
