 Quality People Serving Quality People

Wabash Medical Director, Dr. Ron
Ruecker has a list of honors, appoint-
ments, activities and credentials
that could fill this newsletter and, it
may be considered an injustice to
summarize them. He has served
Wabash since 1974, first as consulting
physician, later a Board member and
subsequently Medical Director. Highlights of his career include being the first subspecialty physician in Decatur; ISMS President and Chairman of the Board; Advisory Council for the Department of Health and Human Services and ISMS Trustee. Perhaps more important than professional honors, Dr. Ruecker has a full family life with his wife of 42 years, Bonnie, and their two married children, Rhett and Robin, and four grandchildren. Showing his fondness for the personal aspect of medicine, he states that his "relationship with patients over the last 32 years has been the highlight" of his practice. Highly qualified with genuine care for others summarizes his long list of accomplishments.
