                                Dr. Stanley Goldstein Remembers Wabash

Not only did Dr. Goldstein serve the Wabash family well for many years as a Wabash
physician and back-up physician in the Decatur Wabash Clinic, but he continues to serve
Wabash even after his recent passing. Dr. Goldstein provided for the Wabash Hospital
Association Foundation by naming it as beneficiary to a life insurance policy that was
taken out many years ago.

Dr. Goldstein may be best remembered for his humor and easy-going manner while serving our members. Our condolences go to the Goldstein family for their loss.

                         Central Illinois Actives - MMCP

In responding to the needs of our local members, the Wabash Board of Managers directed that the Decatur Wabash Clinic become a network provider in the National Plan's Managed Medical Care Program (MMCP). The Wabash Clinic joined the United Healthcare and Blue Cross MMCP provider networks making it possible for spouses and dependents of Wabash Active railroaders who opt for the Managed Medical Care Program in Central Illinois to use our Clinic as a network facility. Wabash receives the co-pay and bills UHC or BCBS for the services provided. This is another example of railroaders serving and responding to the needs of other railroaders.
