In Memory
Wabash extends condolences to family members and friends
of our Wabash members who have recently passed away. Life can be the same after
a trinket has been lost - but never after the loss of a treasure.

Did You Know That...?
- A $4.00 Wal-Mart drug could only cost
you $2.00. Since our EHO drug co-pay is only $2.00 for a 30-day generic
script, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Walgreens, etc., are only authorized to charge the
co-pay (i.e., $2.00)
- Health Policy Watch reports that, even
though United Healthcare's former CEO, William McGuire, was involved in a
stock scandal and fired - he still left with $800,000,000 (+/-) worth of stock
options after being paid over a half billion dollars in salary over his time
as CEO. Could your monthly health and welfare contributions be paying
for this?
- Brand Name Drugs could be dangerous to
your "Financial Health" - Commercial advertising for Brand Name Drugs wastes
billions of consumer dolalrs each year for pills that could be selling for six
times as much as another drug that does the same thing and are made by the
same company. (Nexium vs Prilosec).
- The Friends of Wabash drug plan is no
longer being charged on an annual basis. Once the $10.00 enrollment fee
is paid, you are a life-time participant. This means that EHO has waived
the subsequent annual $10.00 - basically giving you free access to the Wabash
negotiated discounts and international drug sources. Our thanks to EHO
for their generosity and commitment to serving all the "Friends of
Wabash".

Reminders and FYI
Medicare Retirees are reminded to be certain
that you have presented your new laminated Wabash insurance card to your
doctors. The physician's claims should no longer be sent to Medicare for
reimbursement. Your new card instructs them to bill Wabash electronically
in order to receive their primary and secondary claim payments promptly.
If you have not received a new laminated Wabash insurance card int he last three
months, call Carol at 1-888-800-9161.
All Members
should have received a "plastic-like" EHO drug card recently. Your new
card will have a different member ID number reflecting the last five digits of
either your Social Security number or your Medicare claim numbers. If you
have not received your card, please call Carol at 1-888-800-9161.
