Serving Quality People
Wabash Volunteers, Jim and
Marian Brown may be among the most quiet of our group but, their work and
attitude speak loud and clear - giving credence to the adage that "actions speak
louder than words". Married for fifty-six years with two daughters, four
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Jim and Marian still find time to
help and work-out in the Fitness Center as well as help with mailings and other
volunteer duties. After over 43 years working in the Railroad Car Shop, Jim now
enjoys working in his yard and spending time with Marian. An avid knitter and
seamstress, Marian is currently working on a surprise creation for her newest
great-grandchild. Like other Wabash volunteers, the Browns are faithful to the
task while making others feel welcome and quietly assisting wherever possible
for the benefit of all members of Wabash Association.
