Our Board of Managers recognizes that a healthier member means a healthier Association. The program is currently being researched/designed.              Mumps On The Rise?
There is evidence that mumps is on the rise in many areas. Individuals born after 1957 who have never had mumps are at a higher risk and are encouraged to check with their family physician to see if the mumps vaccine is advised.

Board Responds To Active's Need

At the May meeting, the Board acted positively in response to concerns voiced by some Actives. Many felt that our benefit that provided for diagnostic services compared unfavorably with that provided
by United Healthcare. The Wabash Board, listening to its membership, acted swiftly to provide, once again, an even better diagnostic benefit than that allowed through the National Plan. Effective June 1, 2006, Wabash will provide first dollar coverage (100%) for the first $10,000 of outpatient diagnostic services and 80% beyond that with no limit. With United Healthcare, both a deductible and co-pay applies to the first $3,000 of all testing.   ________________________________
