In Memory
Wabash extends condolences to family members and friends
of our Wabash members who have recently passed away. Life can be the same after
a trinket has been lost - but never after the loss of a treasure.

Did You Know That...?
- Central Illinois Members take notice. Both St.
Mary's Hospital and Decatur Memorial Hospital are participants in our Central
Illinois network of providers. The choice of hospital for your admission lies
directly with you and your physician. Upon admission, be certain to present
your Wabash insurance card which offers billing instructions for your medical
claim.
- Updated and revised member Handbooks for both
Actives and Medicare Retirees will be printed in late summer / early fall. The
new Handbooks will reflect all the changes in benefits, By-Laws and general
Association rules that have been implemented since 2005. It is important that
you keep the new Handbook as a reference and guide for the use of your
healthcare benefits through Wabash.
- Plan 9 and 10 Medicare Participants should continue
to tell all of your physicians that medical claims should be billed directly
to Wabash, not to Medicare as before. This reduces the overall cost to Wabash.
Please insist that your provider's billing manager follow the specific
electronic billing instructions on the back side of your Wabash Medical Card.
