Reminder To All Members
If you have not done so, all members are encouraged to return the Protected
Health Information form authorizing Wabash to release information about your
treatment or medical claims to your family members upon request. The printed
form appeared in the last two editions of the Banner Blue News. Not having this
form in your file could create significant delays in providing requested data to
those assisting in your care. Call Marge at 1-888-800-9161 if you need another
form.

Decatur Hospital Network
St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur is now included in our local network of hospitals
for Central Illinois Wabash members. Whereas Decatur Memorial Hospital is
considered our Preferred Decatur Area Hospital contractually, Wabash patients
and admitting physicians may choose either facility without being assessed
out-of-network penalties.

Friends of Wabash
For many seniors, "Friends of Wabash" could be a lower cost option for accessing
prescription drugs than a commercial Medicare Part D drug plan. With open
enrollment, and a cost of $10 per year, your Friends of Wabash prescription drug
card makes you eligible for negotiated pricing on drugs (brand and generic; U.S.
retail or International imports). You don't have to be concerned with
'formularies' or excluded products. Please call (800) 650-1817 and have EHO
estimate your 'Market Basket' cost for a one-year supply of your medication.
Compare that with your cost through a commercial Part D drug plan. Friends of
Wabash may save you a bundle.

FYI Obesity kills one American every 90
seconds. Recent statistics reveal that obesity and related chronic medical
conditions not only cost this Nation $93 billion each year in healthcare dollars
but also kill one person every 90 seconds. Smoking only adds to the risk. Don't
become a statistic. Eat less! Slim down! Exercise daily! Stop smoking!
Get healthy and save health care dollars for all of us!
